Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site hazards involved in crane operation. People training would acquire information of rigging, hardware applications and load charts. Direct feedback and quizzes during the course would assist trainees solidify their knowledge.
The theory topics comprise: Safety fundamentals for crane operators; introduction to crane certification process; crane operation knowledge; rigging knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; crane maintenance and service and crane set-up and pre-trip inspections.
Practical Programs
The crane training school features practical training including hands-on learning. This part teaches trainees how to identify crane components and terminology. People training will have the chance to perform skills needed for crane signaling, operating and signaling.
Practical course topics: Identify crane functions and components; Learn crane terms; utilize remote control; identify rigging and wire ropes; pre-use inspection on crane; identify regulations and documents for wire rope and rigging; carry out rigging methods; utilize hand signals and radio; and carry out right lifting and lowering of loads.
